We believe that businesses, as well as individuals, have a responsibility to do what they can to help others in their communities. At Sagewood, we take our communitiy obligations seriously and try to help where we can. We provide cash and in-kind donations to both local and worldwide organizations dedicated to helping others. In the past, we've donated cabinetry for Habitat for Humanity housing projects, and provided cash support to organizations as diverse as Doctors Without Borders, Women for Women, the Adopt a Native Elder Program, and local food banks and gift drives. We've compiled a list of some of the organizations we have supported, and encourage you to support them as well if you're able!

| Habitat for Humanity - Roaring Fork Valley Chapter |
 |
Habitat for Humanity builds simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with those in need. Families purchase the houses at cost, with a zero interest mortgage and they are required to complete hundreds of hours of ‘sweat equity’ working alongside volunteers to build their homes. Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and business donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. |
